I am in the process of making the huge Frank Farrelly archive digital. This is a massive undertaking as there are a huge number of 8mm videotapes, cassette tapes and even older formats dating back decades. I have found a company that will make digital transfers and this company has started work on the first 44 hours of material.
I’ll be funding this operation from income from the PCW Dev platform as its going to be a sizable investment, but I am keen to preserve the material specifically for student study. Those on the PCW platform will have access to a lot of this material as part of their study. Frank was always keen to support those who were interested in his work and I will continue to work that way. There’s very little of Frank Farrelly’s material available to the wider public and this will help redress the balance. My hope is to show some of the material from decades ago at the next UK workshop.
